   Furness seconds also had a poor day last week coming second to Millom seconds in an enjoyable double header at the Strawberry Grounds. This week they try again this time Fleetwood are the visitors to Furness in a re-arranged fixture. Furness must take full advantage of home territory for the remaining games of which the blues only travel twice and host a further four times.

   Fleetwood as a club are doing exceptionally well this season and their thirds presently occupy fourth spot, six above Furness. A good all-round test is on the cards for Furness and depending on selection they should just about have enough fire power to pull some points out of the bag. Players should meet at 1pm for a 2:15 ko.
